Somewhere in the magical Argonne forest is a place where you come very, very close to that damned war. You’ll find remnants of a German graveyard, lots of bottles and trenches, reinforced with concrete. Near Saint-Mihiel, south of Verdun, you can find them too. Were they an experiment? Probably it was too much work to construct them like this.
